Volunteer Appreciation Day

Overview

Volunteers have been an integral part of the 500 Festival for more than 60 years. Each year, 7,000 volunteer positions are filled by 500 Festival volunteers. The Month of May just wouldn’t be the same without 500 Festival volunteers! To honor these dedicated and passionate volunteers, the 500 Festival hosts Volunteer Appreciation Day. This event is held at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on the day of the Indianapolis 500 qualifications. You and a guest will have the opportunity to enjoy lunch before experiencing qualifications for the 107th running of the Indy 500!

When: Saturday, May 20
Where: Plaza Pavilion at Indianapolis Motor Speedway

An invitation to Volunteer Appreciation Day includes:

• Complimentary tickets to the 2023 Indy 500 qualifications for you and a guest
• A parking pass for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway
• The opportunity to tour the garages prior to that day’s qualifications (must be 18 or older)
