Coming in at fifty-five feet long is the American Dairy Association of Indiana’s float, celebrating “Fueling Victory.” Milk has been a tradition of the Indianapolis 500 since 1936, when Louis Meyer requested a bottle of buttermilk to celebrate his win. This larger-than-life float honors the celebratory milk handoff from an Indiana dairy farmer to the Indy 500 winner in Victory Circle.

The Republic Airways – LIFT Academy float, 28 feet in length, is soaring through the streets of Indianapolis at this year’s parade.
