Ticket & Seating

Parade tickets will go on sale to the public on March 10, 2026. They are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

All tickets are digital e-tickets – no physical tickets will be issued. You can use your e-ticket to view your location and seating. Tickets can be added to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, or you may print them if you prefer.

You may purchase a commemorative Parade ticket for $10. Just add it to your cart as you purchase your seated admission. The commemorative ticket is not valid for entry. You must use your digital ticket for admission.

Yes, groups of 15 or more attendees will automatically receive group pricing during checkout.

We highly encourage you to buy a ticket, as you then get assigned a seat, and in most cases a better view. However, if your own lawn chair doesn’t interfere with bleachers or our paid seats, you’re more than welcome to bring your own and find a place to sit. Please make sure you aren’t blocking any ramps or anyone else’s view.

Yes. We offer ADA seating in the first and second row of paid seats, towards the end of each section. This allows you to simply pull away a chair and put a wheelchair in the place of that seat.

If your child will be on your lap for the duration of the event, you don’t need to pay for a ticket. If; however, they will be in their own seat at any point during the Parade, they will need a ticket.

This event is held rain or shine. If inclement weather on Parade morning, please check @500festival social channels (Instagram / Facebook) for updates. 

If you have a paid bleacher/chair seat, we ask that you do not use umbrellas, as you’ll block other patrons’ views. Ponchos and weatherproof rain jackets are encouraged.

Parade tickets are non-refundable.

Parade Day Details

The parade is 1.3 miles long and starts at Pennsylvania and North and heads south, turns west on Washington, then turns north on Meridian and ends at North.

We will announce the lineup on our website here the week before the Parade. It is subject to change up until the Parade starts.

The parade lasts about 2.5 hours; however, the time you see the first unit and the finish time will differ based on where you are located along the route.

Yes. We ask that coolers are no larger than 18x14x14. Please keep in mind that if you’re sitting in the bleachers, the cooler must be at your feet or under the bleachers. If you’re sitting in a chair, the cooler must be under your chair, and not in front of the white line on the road. Coolers cannot be on the seat or bleacher area next to you, and the 500 Festival and its volunteers are not liable for any lost or stolen items.

Strollers are allowed at the Parade, but we recommend that you bring an umbrella-style or other compact stroller, and store it beneath your seat. If you need to bring a larger stroller, please keep in mind that you cannot move a chair to make room for it, nor can it be over the marked line on the street.

The 500 Festival does not provide any parking for Parade ticket buyers, but there are plenty of options in downtown Indy! Please keep in mind our street closures and what side of the Parade you will be sitting on.
