The 500 Festival Teams With Wheeler Mission to Feed the Hungry This Holiday Season
INDIANAPOLIS (December 19, 2013) – Feeding the hungry is no Mini matter. The 500 Festival has teamed with Wheeler Mission to feed the hungry and help the homeless this Holiday season. Teams from the 500 Festival and Drumstick Dash have been working together and are proud to announce the “500 Festival Season of Giving Promotion”. There will be a $5 donation to the Wheeler Mission for every new 2014 OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon registration with the special promo code through the month of December.
The dash to feed the hungry and help the homeless is not over. All Drumstick Dash participants should have received an email from Wheeler Mission encouraging them to register for the 2014 Mini-Marathon with a unique promo code. If participants register before the end of December, the 500 Festival will donate $5 to Wheeler Mission for every new entry. If you did not receive the email, but would still like to participate in the 500 Festival Season of Giving Promotion, please email raceinfo@500festival.com for the code.
Walk, run, or walk & run your way to 13.1 miles from downtown to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway®, including a lap around the track, on May 3rd and continue your support of feeding the hungry and helping the homeless.
13.1 miles too far? Try the Finish Line 500 Festival 5K. Less mileage. Same fun. The same $5 donation will apply to Wheeler Mission.
Registration for the 2014 OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon is currently open. For more information or to make the commitment for 2014, visit IndyMini.com.
