Young race fans ages 12 and under were invited to celebrate the Month of May by entering the 2023 Kickoff to May Coloring Contest, presented by STAR Bank. Participants expressed their creativity by designing their own race flag, an iconic element of the Indianapolis 500 race. The coloring sheet also featured Cosmo, the STAR Bank mascot, standing at the famed Yard of Bricks at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
“The Kickoff to May Coloring Contest is a fun opportunity for kids to get involved in the Month of May celebrations,” said Bob Bryant, president and CEO of the 500 Festival. “We are grateful to partner with STAR Bank to provide an opportunity for young race fans to get excited about the Indy 500 and be creative while celebrating an iconic tradition in Indiana and across the globe.”
“It is an honor for STAR Bank to sponsor this event, all while creating awareness around the Indianapolis 500 and engaging the creativity of Hoosier children through the state-wide coloring contest. It is a win-win for our community!” said Scott Bove, senior vice president/regional president of STAR Bank.
