INDIANAPOLIS (May 7, 2026) – The 500 Festival announces today that Pascal Siakam and Andrew Nembhard of the Indiana Pacers will serve as Grand Marshals of the 2026 Lucas Oil 500 Festival Parade. 

Celebrating its 70th year, the Parade will spotlight the theme Racing Through History, honoring the legacy and impact of the 500 Festival and the traditions that have shaped this iconic community event over the past seven decades. 

Siakam and Nembhard have quickly become fan favorites in Indiana, known for their leadership, dynamic play, and impact both on and off the court. Their selection as Grand Marshals highlights the strong connection between Indiana sports and the 500 Festival, as well as the energy that defines the Month of May. 

“Pascal and Andrew embody the passion, determination, and teamwork that define both the Indiana Pacers and our community,” said Dave Neff, president and CEO of the 500 Festival. “As we celebrate 70 years of the Lucas Oil 500 Festival Parade, it’s only fitting to have two athletes who are helping shape the next chapter of Indiana sports history lead this year’s celebration.” 

As Grand Marshals, they will be featured along the Parade route, greeting fans and taking part in this milestone celebration.
