500 Festival mini-mini, Kids’ Run Goes Virtual

The 500 Festival announces that the mini-mini kids’ run which was set to take place on Sunday, August 21, is now entirely virtual. Participants may complete their race distance wherever they choose from August 14-31.  

 

The mini-mini is open to kids of any age, but it is recommended for ages 5 – 12. Parents or guardians can register their mini-mini runner for $20, plus shipping, at IndyMini.com/minimini now through August 28. 

 

Four different virtual race distances will be offered, ranging from half a mile to 3 miles, so participants can select the race and distance that best meets their age and ability. All 500 Festival mini-mini participants will receive a commemorative shirt, finisher medal, a digital customizable race bib, drawstring bag, and finisher certificate. Participant’s shirt, medal, and bag will be shipped the last week of August.
