Hoosier children ages 12 and under were invited to participate in the Month of May festivities by entering the 2022 Kickoff to May Coloring Contest, presented by STAR Bank. This year’s coloring sheet featured Cosmo, the STAR Bank mascot, waving the checkered flag along the famed Yard of Bricks at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Kids were invited to decorate the sheet with their favorite thing about the Month of May in Indiana.

“This year’s coloring contest entries showcase the vast imaginations and creativity of young Hoosiers,” said Bob Bryant, president and CEO of the 500 Festival. “The Month of May is a magical time in the city of Indianapolis and we, along with STAR Bank, are proud to include young race fans in the celebration and festivities with the Kickoff to May Coloring Contest.

“It is an honor to receive hundreds of Kickoff to May Coloring Contest submissions year after year from future leaders across the state,” said Scott Bove, SVP, Regional President of STAR Bank. “Education and the arts are two of STAR Bank’s community-focused pillars. We are continually inspired by the creativity of young people, whom we know are learning important life skills that will help them race across the finish line in their future careers.”
