The 500 Festival proudly announces “Connected Through May” as the theme for the 2025 AES 500 Festival Parade. This theme will weave through all Festival promotions and events, with a special focus on the Parade. It celebrates the strong sense of community the 500 Festival brings to life leading up to and throughout May.  

“Connected Through May” celebrates how the 500 Festival unites with local organizations and community members through its diverse events and programs. From participating in the Mini-Marathon to attending the Parade or volunteering with the Education Program, the 500 Festival creates opportunities for people of all backgrounds to connect through fitness, education, and community engagement. This year, we’re honoring the moments—big and small—that bring us together, showcasing the excitement and shared pride that make May a truly special time for Indianapolis.
