2016 KeyBank 500 Festival Snakepit Ball Tickets Are Sold-Out

Race weekend’s biggest party sells out with more than a month before the event

INDIANAPOLIS (April 20, 2016) The 500 Festival, a nonprofit organization providing life-enriching events and programs celebrating the legacy of the Indianapolis 500, today announces that tickets to the 2016 KeyBank 500 Festival Snakepit Ball have sold out. The event will be held Saturday, May 28 at the Indiana Roof Ballroom.   

The Snakepit Ball is race weekend’s most exclusive party, attracting celebrities and VIPs in town for race weekend. Andrew Luck and Nicole Pechanec, will co-host the sold-out event. As hosts of the event, Luck and Pechanec are working with the KeyBank 500 Festival Snakepit Ball committee and contributing insight and ideas.

“The KeyBank 500 Festival Snakepit Ball is one of our favorite race weekend traditions,” said Bob Bryant, president and CEO of the 500 Festival. “The event is the culmination of all that we do to provide experiences throughout the month of May that are relevant to a wide variety of participants. We’re looking forward to another legendary race eve celebration!”  

In celebration of the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500, the 2016 KeyBank 500 Festival Snakepit Ball’s theme will be “Spectacle: A Night Circus Celebrating The Greatest Spectacle In Racing.” Saturday, May 28, the Indiana Roof Ballroom will be transformed into a mystical black and white circus, featuring cirque-style performers and enchanting characters. Attendees will don their best race couture to walk the televised red carpet before joining the night circus and enjoying the festivities.
