Golf Outing Continues Driving 500 Festival Free Events

July 17, 2017

"Gentlemen, start your engines!"

The familiar call to action is often welcomed by roaring Indy cars and the cheers inside Indianapolis Motor Speedway. In September, you'll hear the command. What you won't hear are the electric engines of the golf carts. What you won't see is left turn after left turn, unless you're suffering from an unfortunate hook. No, this is not another celebration in May, but a celebration of May on the golf course.

Tuning your swing, like tuning a racecar or tuning your body for a half marathon, takes time and practice. With the second annual 500 Festival Chairman's Cup just two months away, the time to register and start tuning is now.

This scramble-style tournament brings together foursomes from some of the 500 Festival's community partners, sponsors, corporate members, and valuable contributors to the month of May experience. There are a limited number of spots available, both individual and foursomes, and we're extending the invite to anyone! Joining us gives you the opportunity to meet, and golf with, community leaders, benefit the 500 Festival's free events and programs, and so much more. Registration includes access to the driving range, lunch, a full round of 18 followed by an awards ceremony and an auction.

Held at Prairie View Golf Club in Carmel, this beautiful course rests on the banks of the White River and is heralded as one of Indiana's top-rated courses year after year.

Additionally, all proceeds from the event will support the 500 Festival Foundation, specifically benefiting the 500 Festival’s youth fitness programseducation initiatives, and Princess Program scholarships.

Show us how you drive! Hit the links at Prairie View with the 500 Festival on September 27 for an unforgettable day.
