Our 2017 Volunteer Award Winners went above and beyond, demonstrating dedication, selflessness and a commitment to excellence – true hallmarks of Hoosier hospitality and spirit. Get to know this year’s award recipients!
Rhonda was named Volunteer of the Year for her continued encouragement and management of the OneAmerica Pit Stations for the Miler Series, presented by OrthoIndy, and the OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon
Chris was named Outstanding New Volunteer of the Year due to his incredible enthusiasm at Study Trips for the Education Program, presented by Indiana University Health
Lydia was named Unsung Hero thanks to her willingness to step up at the JPMorgan Chase 500 Festival Kids' Day, filling in as a spoke captain
Pam was named Unsung Hero thanks to her willingness to help with volunteer check-in at the OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon
Stacy was named Unsung Hero for continuing to go above and beyond as the chair of the Start Line Committee
Melanie was named Unsung Hero for her flexibility and willingness to help resolve parking issues at the OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon
Adrianne was named Unsung Hero for always being open to do more than expected with a smile on her face
Janet was named Unsung Hero for her great attitude in helping with running events
James was named Unsung Hero for spending several days in the rain setting up for the 500 Festival Post Race Party in Military Park while keeping a positive attitude
Ashley was named Unsung Hero for always going above and beyond in her roles with the OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon, the 500 Festival Memorial Service, presented by Rolls-Royce, and the IPL 500 Festival Parade
