The 500 Festival announced today that Karle Schaefer of Franklin, Indiana was selected the 2008 500 Festival Queen at the annual Breakfast at the Brickyard, presented by ProLiance Energy held at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The 32nd running of the OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon has sells out more than five months in advance of the May 3, 2008 race.

You won't want to miss a morning of racing legend Bobby Rahal at the 2008 500 Festival Breakfast at the Brickyard, presented by ProLiance energy.  The 500 Festival will welcome mayors from all across Indiana to celebrate this annual event at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

This year's event features open wheel racing champion, team owner and 1986 Indianapolis 500 winner Bobby Rahal as the guest speaker.   Breakfast at the Brickyard takes place on Saturday, May 17 at 9:30 a.m. at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway’s Plaza Pavilion.
